Harri Price
Harri is a beautiful large staffie who used to love going in the sea, swimming and catching seagulls,but due to poor cruciates and arthritis has been unable to even get into the car without help. Sarah and Ceri suggested hydrotherapy may be a helpful alternative treatment and we thought we would try it even though he hates bathing and rain!
Harri literally took to it like a duck to water! Ceri hosed his paws and lower body, an event in itself for the little man. Then easing him into the cabinet was also not without trepidation. But, once in, he loved it , all smiles, drinking the water (wrong) playing with the ball and even swimming. He loved it that much he walked back in on his own once the water had been drained and he had been hosed again!
His mobility after was superb compared to that pre-treatment for the rest of the day and also the next day. Day three he was shattered but after exercise like that we all have reason to rest!
We shall be booking for a full course with Sarah and Ceri, and recommend this alternative therapy to any animal. Thank you!
